Automatic web splicing is done at zero speed with no line stoppages while Servo motion-control software controls web position. Using digital controls, the plow assures consistent pouch forming as the material moves onto the vertical sealer. Optional features like tear notching, code dating and application of a bottom seal can be applied on the flexible format machine. Cloud's MVP® system creates ideal pouch openings while, based on product type and packaging requirements, a custom pouch-filling solution is employed. Top sealing finishes the closure of the pouch and Cloud's Cumulus™ conveyor enhances line efficiency. Cloud's remote knife/automatic collator consistently aligns, holds and cuts a continuous bandoleer of pouches while Cloud's Festooner allows de-coupling of pouch-making from downstream collation and secondary packaging. |
