Amidst Strong Growth and Acquisitions Span Packaging Services Announces Management Team Changes

Span Packaging Services LLC is pleased to announce several organizational changes due to a changing business environment. "Over the past few years Span has experienced strong growth which has come both organically and through acquisition and has necessitated these changes," said Les Teague, President of Span Packaging Services, LLC and Automated Packaging, LLC. "The past twelve months have been an exciting time at Span as we have experienced almost a 25% growth in sales. This success alone is enough to be proud of, but we have also taken on the role of managing the acquisition of Automated Packaging, LLC in Winder, GA, for our parent company Cloud Packaging Solutions, LLC. Our goal at both Span Packaging and Automated Packaging is to be leaders in our respective industries in bringing true value to our customers; this value is derived from our commitment to providing industry leading services built on a commitment to Quality, Responsiveness and Flexibility in the markets we serve. So often companies grow and lose touch with what made them successful. As a result, I believe the changes we are announcing today will prevent that from happening, and help us to maintain our success."

The changes are as follows: Les Teague promoted from VP and General Manager of Span Packaging Services to President of both Span Packaging Services and Automated Packaging. He will have full responsibility for both organizations and is tasked with continuing the strong performance of both in the coming years. Said Teague, "I look forward to working with my teams at both facilities and helping lead them both to greater success in the future." Also promoted in the acquisition is John Panaseny who had been Director of Sales for Span Packaging Services and has now been named VP of Sales and Marketing for both organizations. "John has done an outstanding job of guiding our sales and marketing efforts at Span over the past three years and his new focus will be to sustain the momentum we have created and continue to achieve outstanding profitable sales growth at both organizations."

Further, Span Packaging Services announced two additional changes: Joe Ervin has been promoted to Director of Operations and Keith Wyatt has been promoted to Director of Customer Service and Materials Management. "I cannot say enough about the work that both Joe and Keith have done over the past few years to help us achieve our goals. They are both first and foremost committed to our customers while also being strong stewards of our business. As I spend more time overseeing the combined businesses, Keith and Joe will take on greater responsibility at Span Packaging," commented Teague. He further added, "the challenges ahead are exciting and I am confident we have strong teams in place at both facilities to achieve our long term goal of being the preeminent suppliers in the markets we serve."
